Paul’s Last Goodbye to Ephesus Acts 20:13–38 Bible Study

Paul knows this is goodbye. In Acts 20:13–38, Paul summons the Ephesian elders to Miletus for one of the most emotional scenes in the Book of Acts — his final farewell to the church he spent three years teaching, serving, warning, and loving. The ship is waiting. Jerusalem lies ahead. Paul knows suffering is coming, and he knows these friends may never see his face again. But before he leaves, Paul tells them what will remain when he is gone: “Now, brothers, I entrust you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build up…” — Acts 20:32 Paul does not leave them another Paul. He leaves them God and the word of His grace.
