No matter where you turn or who you ask, the topic always resurfaces, claiming its spot at the top of your list of good habits to acquire. However, one thing is talking about boundaries and another is actively setting them up. If you still struggle with this (FYI, you’re not alone!), maybe it’s time for a lil’refresher. In this week’s episode, I’m sharing a quick primer on boundaries, why they matter, and how having a couple of them firmly set can (and will!) enhance your holiday experience.
If you are anything like me, you know actively setting up boundaries sounds way, way simpler in theory than in practice. The problem is that no one teaches how to do this, or even what types of boundaries to set and when. This lack of actionable insights becomes a glaring issue around the seasons when social interactions and demands for your time increase, such as the holiday season.
This is why, this week I decided to put together a quick reminder of why setting boundaries during busy seasons is so important and how would those boundaries look like
