The National Association of Realtors is facing another heated debate. This time is all about a requirement that agents immediately list for-sale homes on the MLS. Many brokers feel there are situations that call for private listings, including seller preferences. But currently, there’s a rule that requires brokers to list homes within one day of any kind of marketing, which includes the posting of a single for-sale sign.
