Faith Under Fire - Steve A. Boyd - March 1, 2026
"Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee." - Genesis 12:1Abraham became the father of faith not through human will or positive thinking, but through a word from God. Notice the difference: In Genesis 11, people said "Let us, let us, let us..." but in Genesis 12, God said "I will, I will, I will..."True faith isn't rooted in our desires or gut feelings - it's anchored in God's promises. Even when famine struck the promised land and Abraham's faith wavered, God remained faithful. Sometimes we find ourselves between the promise and the fulfillment, but remember: "Never doubt in the midnight hour what God has promised you in the sunlight of His love."When our faith comes under fire, we return to Bethel - the house of God - and back into relationship with the God of the house. What promises is God calling you to stand on today? 💪#FaithUnderFire #TrustGod #AbrahamsFaith #GodsPromises #BethelMoment #ChristianFaith #BibleStudy
