Dr. Vaccaro is an active member of both the </span><a href="https://www.augs.org/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">American Urogynecologic Society</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (AUGS) and the </span><a href="https://www.sgsonline.org/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Society of Gynecologic Surgeons</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (SGS), where she contributes to multiple committees focused on advancing education and research.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Dr. Vaccaro has been practicing medicine for over 20 years in the military, and graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1999, with a major in Chemistry/Life Sciences, Nuclear Engineering Track. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree in 2003 from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She completed her OB/GYN residency training in 2007 at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA and her Urogynecology fellowship training in 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Vaccaro retired from the U.S. Army with the rank of Colonel, after serving as </span><a href="https://www.usuhs.edu/profile/christine-vaccaro-colonel-retired-do"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fellowship Program Director and Service Chief of Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> at </span><a href="https://walterreed.tricare.mil/Health-Services/Womens-Health-Pregnancy/Urogynecology"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Walter Reed National Military Medical Center</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>
