The two kick things off with the Audrain Concours in Newport, where a golf cart chase involving military police somehow became a highlight. From there, the conversation moves into why Spike and Jay both believe internal combustion is not going anywhere, with manual transmission supercars making a quiet comeback at both boutique and mainstream automakers. Jay opens up about his decades-long friendship with President Biden, including a garage visit after the loss of Beau Biden and an infamous soggy White House burger. Biden showed up at the Concours with his grandson and his wedding-gift 1967 Corvette, which sends Spike and Jay into a debate about car show judging culture and the difference between checkbook collectors and the guy in Ohio who has babied the same car since high school. The Rolls-Royce Spectre review portion is unlike anything else on YouTube: the actual giveaway car rolls through the garage doors live on camera. Jay spec'd it black-on-black, identical to his personal Spectre, and shares the casino origin story of a 22-year-old security guard who won a Rolls-Royce and then immediately hit a million-dollar slot jackpot ten feet away. They cover Tesla's flying car claims (Jay is skeptical), the Jaguar rebrand reaction, the Cadillac Celestiq Jay actually came around on, and the ideal powertrain for Porsche's Mission S. Jay wants a flat-eight with an optional manual. Spike wants a naturally aspirated V10 like the Carrera GT. Jay also breaks down his 1971 Porsche 911 T, a Sepia Brown survivor he tracked down the old-school way. The Carrera GT clutch gets its own moment, as it should. Jay spun one at 190 mph at Talladega and somehow walked away clean. Porsche unveiled the 550 Spyder in that same spot in 1953. The Mission S, reportedly born from a pencil sketch just eight months ago, carries fender lines Jerry describes as "a Jaguar through a German lens" and is shaping up to be a dedicated halo car positioned above the 911, something Porsche hasn't attempted since the 928 GTS was put to rest in 1995. From there, Spike, Jonny Lieberman, and Paul Zuckerman dig into the Porsche supercar above 911 question seriously: flat-eight hybrid? Front-wheel electric drive motors? A 917-style fan shroud on top? Then the tone shifts when Tesla's long-delayed Roadster comes back into the news, complete with cold-gas nitrogen thrusters, sub-one-second zero-to-60 claims, and a reservation contract that literally states they do not guarantee the car will ever be delivered or built. They also get a look at the Alef Aeronautics flying car demo video and react accordingly. Two car reviews anchor the second half. First: the Landrovers Pantera Breeze, a bespoke electric Land Rover Defender restomod out of Amsterdam, 600 horsepower across four in-wheel motors, teak and leather inside, Marine Blue outside, and a $680,000 price tag that Spike says is almost justified given how rattle-free the ride is. Almost. Then Jonny runs through the Genesis G90 review: 409 horsepower, an electric supercharger on a twin-turbo V6, and a Chauffeur Mode that uses forward cameras to pre-soften suspension hits before passengers feel them. Genesis G90 chauffeur mode is the real story here and it's genuinely impressive tech for the price against an S-Class or 7 Series. Spike and Paul also recount a weekend at Willow Springs with the Duke of Richmond, judging historic IROC Porsche 911 replicas from a helicopter. The winner had the worst lap time and one eye, lost in a musical theater sword fight.
