The HCEWC offers yoga, zumba, gardening, and sewing classes for free as a way to reach and educate communities that would otherwise not seek mental health resources. Her work is rooted on the empowerment of communities, achieving wellness by looking at healing in a holistic (whole) manner. She also talks about the impacts of little, or negative representation in the media and how the Happy Black Girl Project is working to change those stereotypes.
