<p>On this episode of Boyz, Devoya a cultural broker at the Holistic Cultural & Educational Wellness Health Center, and creator of The Happy Black Girl Project joins us to talk about healing through a multicultural lens.a program seeking to empower communities of color through a multicultural lens. The HCEWC offers yoga, zumba, gardening, and sewing classes for free as a way to reach and educate communities that would otherwise not seek mental health resources. Her work is rooted on the empowerment of communities, achieving wellness by looking at healing in a holistic (whole) manner. She also talks about the impacts of little, or negative representation in the media and how the Happy Black Girl Project is working to change those stereotypes.</p>
