LSU Tigers running back John Emery Jr. announced Tuesday afternoon that he will enter the transfer portal after spending the last five seasons in Baton Rouge. The New Orleans area native was a five-star coming out of Destrehan High School and was one of the highest rated players in the state of Louisiana. Emery Jr. had a couple of solid seasons, but academic probation kept him off the field in 2021 and portions of the 2022 season. His best year in the purple and gold came in head coach Brian Kelly's first season, but an ACL tear sidelined him the next year and prevented his ability to string together back-to-back productive seasons. What are Emery's options coming off of an injury and what does that mean for the Tigers RB room and roster as a whole?
