A Quiet Place Day One tells the story of how the earth was forever changed when the mysterious aliens first landed on earth. While the trailers teased a large scale action/horror spectacle, the film is actually a much slower and methodical character piece about people just trying to survive. Directed by Michael Sarnoski, director of PIG, the film star Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn as two characters whose paths cross amidst the chaos.
