In both a surprising and not surprising move, Marvel is reportedly bringing back the Russo Brothers to direct Avengers 5, formerly known as Avengers The Kang Dynasty, and Avengers Secret Wars. The Russo Brothers previously directed Captain America The Winter Soldier, Civil War, Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame. The film has already seen its fair share of behind the scenes problems as the search for a director has gone on for a while and the film may now be on its third writer. Avengers 5 will also be moving away from using Kang the Conqueror, thus the dropping of the Kang Dynasty name. While not much is known about the current direction for Avengers 5, Nathan has a theory about who the team may be facing off against. Either way, it’s a good bet to imagine Marvel has a few big announcements next weekend at San Diego Comic Con. What do you think of the Russo Brothers coming back to the MCU?
