Reading God’s Word: Luke 2:1-24; Psalm 47
Memorizing God’s Word: Ephesians 5:2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Meditating on God’s Word: Luke 2:10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
Praying God’s Word: “Jesus, as we read Luke 2, we can’t help but remember one of the most beautiful names you’re given in Scripture. The name that calms our fears and fills the troubled heart with peace—Immanuel, God with us. Other names tell us you’re powerful and sovereign, preexistent and eternal, but the best reason we have to let go of our fears today is because you’re Immanuel. The Alpha and the Omega has come near, and that is such good news! Thank you, Lord!”
