Reading God’s Word: Luke 1:57-80; Psalm 46
Memorizing God’s Word: Ephesians 5:2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, Psalm 46 paints a world in chaos—nations in uproar and kingdoms falling. We know that world all too well. But while the chaos hasn’t changed in 3,000 years, neither has our God. You are still the Lord Almighty, an ever-present help to your people. Help us find the stillness within the swirling noise., and remind us of what is most true in the world: You are God. You are at work, and you will be exalted in all the earth. We take a deep breath, rest in your power, and say we trust you, Lord Almighty. Amen.
