Meditating on God’s Word: Matthew 12:50 “For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” Praying God’s Word “Lord, these verses can be hard to understand but remind us that our deepest identity and belonging come from doing the will of the Father. We are commanded to love, honor and care for members of our family, but our priority needs to be pointing them back to You, not just making their lives comfortable. Help me to prioritize my life according to Your Word and to always choose to love You first. Amen.”
