On this episode of “Everything's Messy Podcast”, I’m doing something a bit different – we’re chatting about Casey and Calley Means' book Good Energy. It’s packed with eye-opening insights about food and health that I just have to share with you. 🌱
Lately, it seems like more people are waking up to the fact that food can either heal or hurt us. I love seeing this shift – we're realizing that the right foods can do wonders for our bodies. But we’ve still got a long way to go.
Casey Means and her brother Calley (who have been making rounds on Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson) are spreading the word about this on a bigger scale. Their book breaks it down – how food affects our energy, metabolism, and mindset. It’s all connected. The signs of metabolic issues sneak up on us: a little extra weight around the middle, high blood pressure, and it’s all the start of something bigger if we don’t catch it early.
We’ve got to start asking better questions about our food and our health. It shouldn’t be about politics – it’s about all of us coming together to demand better for our families. We’ve got to stop slapping Band-Aids on problems and start addressing the root causes.
On another note, I want to hear from YOU! Join our Messy Movers group on Facebook where we dive into these topics even deeper. We also have a special space for my fellow Type 1 diabetics. 💙
Thanks for tuning in, and as always, keep it messy, my friends! ✨
