*Attorney Raymond A. Connell, Jamaica Consul General for the Pacific Northwest comments on his duties which includes assistance with renewing Jamaican passports.

 

*Johnathan Johnson, President, Tacoma WA NAACP comments on the activities of the civil rights organization and comments on the continuing efforts to get true justice for the Manny Ellis family who was killed by Tacoma police.

 

*Maisha Barnett, granddaughter of the legendary Powell Barnett talks about the re-dedication of a portrait of her grandfather that hangs in the hallway of Leschi Elementary School. Speakers for the Saturday, April 27 noon event are former King County Council Member Larry Gossett, Reverend Dr. Ratcliff-Beaumonte, and Karen Jones.

 

*Barney Hilliard has organized fund raising concerts to benefit students in need at Leschi Elementary School and he continues his effort. He will be joined by Butch Harrison and Good Company for the April 27 event at 1:00 pm (PDT).
