<p>Brian Acton and Jan Kaoum started WhatsApp in 2009. With a vision of a Social media app that will be free of any ads and all the messages will be encrypted for safety purposes. </p>
<p>In 2014, Facebook bought WhatsApp for $19 billion, and soon they started with the app monetization. And in the end, Brain Acton decided to quit from WhatsApp. </p>
