The San Diego Padres are swept out of Philadelphia after a 6-4 loss to the Phillies on Thursday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park.   For the third straight day, the story was not just the offense—it was another brutal seventh inning. After Manny Machado blasted a two-run homer off Zack Wheeler to pull the Padres within 3-2, the bullpen immediately unraveled in the bottom half of the inning.   Adrian Morejon walked the leadoff hitter, the Padres defense fell apart, the Phillies took advantage, and a three-run inning turned a one-run game into a 6-2 deficit.   Manny Machado and Jackson Merrill both homered, accounting for all four Padres runs.
