<p>Full Transcript:</p> <p>There’s so much emotional weight and exhaustion in our current culture because of our reaction to Social Media. &nbsp;This affects our perception of self and how we live our lives. &nbsp;&nbsp;If we are constantly judging others and overly critical, we begin to feel terrible. This is especially true if we judge ourselves in a negative way.</p> <p><br> Social Media is teaching us to judge something in 15 seconds or less—in a hundred characters or less. &nbsp;We often don’t have context or the full picture. &nbsp;Our quick scrolling has sped up the speed of our judgement. &nbsp;We are training our minds to decipher things and come to conclusions faster.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;This begins a process of physicalizing and responding. &nbsp;This can lead to mental anguish and exhaustion. &nbsp;To combat this problem, we need to become more aware of how we’re feeling and reacting to what we consume. &nbsp;It starts with acknowledging our emotions, taking the right actions of integrity and learning to move on. &nbsp;It’s easy to judge others. &nbsp;It’s easy to judge ourselves. &nbsp;It’s far more difficult to demonstrate the emotional restraint to thoughtfully evaluate something before choosing to react.</p> <p><br> Each day, we can mindfully make strides to better ourselves. &nbsp;We can slowly become more aware of our judgments and reactions. &nbsp;This is emotional freedom.</p> <p><br></p>
