We talked about the lessons learned here:</p><p>June 6: The Sierra Arts Bookfest in Sparks, Nevada was a gathering of local authors who are members of the <a href="https://sierraarts.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sierra Arts Foundation</a>. We spoke to many people, which is the fun part, and we experienced Mother Nature in her full, wind-blown glory. We&#39;re looking forward to next year!</p><p>June 12: <a href="https://www.bubsbookstore.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bub&#39;s Bookstore</a> in Carson City opened! We were privileged to participate in their ribbon-cutting ceremonies and chat with our fellow authors, notably <a href="https://www.jacciturner.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jacci Turner</a> (buy her books!). If you&#39;re in the area, please go to Bub&#39;s early and often. We need to support our local bookstores!</p><p>June 13: Nevada Pride at the Brewery Arts was hot and fun! We had a booth right in front of the stage, and we enjoyed live music all day. Everyone was happy and smiling and dancing. More information as we get closer.</p><p>Manuscript Status:<br>– CC is also digging into Battle Born Bride. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3m4-F0Quaw">She talks about fast-drafting it</a>.<br>– The sequel to <a href="https://carsonhume.square.site/product/finding-salvation-three-novellas-in-one-book/B7R6EBFYFX6GJAMUOOAYND5Z?cs=true&cst=custom" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Finding Salvation</a> is with me.
