Chase stood on the front lines of the fight against the Dakota Access pipeline (DAPL) where he was targeted by law enforcement and arrested. For his role in documenting a peaceful protest, Iron Eyes faced a possible ten years in federal prison, so he knows first-hand what it’s like to be the subject of a political prosecution.
