CLARITY through CHAOS

During this episode we talk about how Tahnee was introduced to Human Design and how she has started to implement Human Design in her life & with her family. She talks a bit about the differences between feng shui and human design and how they relate to us and to our homes. This is going to be a little more of a deep dive into our HD charts and energy types, we talk a lot about strategy and authority and that being the starting point for really living your design. Tahnee talks a lot about cognition, environment, and digestion and the importance of embracing our individuality. You guys are going to get a little taste of Thrive, with a look into my chart as Tahnee teaches me about my digestion, cognition and environment which was so informative and fun! 

Joy was such a pleasure to connect with, we had such an honest conversation about finding clarity, and the idea and practice of getting comfortable with the unknown. Really finding beauty in not knowing your purpose and allowing for your intuition to guide you. It was so interesting to learn all about Joy’s journey, and how she tried so many different paths before ultimately finding her calling in the work that she does now. I love her perspective and her approach to life, she’s all about being gentle and compassionate with ourselves and I think that now more than ever, we can use more of that mindset. My favorite part of this conversation is how real and approachable Joy is, her book, Inspired, is a testament to her approach to life and it is lovely to see how she relates the 7 wisdoms from her book throughout her own life the lives of her clients. Man, grief. It’s such a small word for such a big emotion. And we get into all of it, you know, all those non-linear emotions that go along with that little word. I have to say, It’s not as sad as it sounds… Anita and Mel have such a real and honest perspective about grief and the entire grieving experience. How sometimes the silver lining that can come from tragedy can be annoying! We have a great discussion about mental health. Being ok with where you’re at. Taking shame away from that conversation of needing to take medication. I know a lot of people prefer the Holistic approach, and for some that works, but for others medications could be more affective or just somewhere to start in their healing journey.

He has really lived bravely. His driving force is living authentically in the hopes that it will resonate with others who are still finding their truth and figuring out who they are in this world. Through talking to him you can feel his truth, living his life and the way he radically self-accepts himself will change the world. I love listening to his journey of learning to accept himself and loving himself, how creating music has allowed him to express his emotions. We talk about his journey of coming out to his family and the fears that went around that, and the relief of knowing he was still loved after revealing his big secret. We discuss co-dependency & the importance of Boundary setting and how being selfish isn’t a bad thing, in fact it’s a mandatory thing.

During this episode we each share a bit about what our lives like growing up and we have a really candid conversation about how conditioning can show up in your chart and how Rebekah uses human design to help heal child hood wounds and trauma. She really shines a light on dysfunctional relationships and not just romantic relationships but also family relationships that are dysfunctional. How that dysfunction can show up later in your life. I found this so interesting especially because sometimes we don’t realize the dysfunction we live in, we just assume it’s normal.
