Dr. Allison Sucamele
In this episode, I will be talking about how to survive an election year and how to use the election as an opportunity to build resilience regardless of the outcome. This episode is not about politics, but discusses strategies you can use this election season to reduce anxiety and navigate social situations when they do turn to politics.
Kind reminder: positive psychology is the study of human strengths and flourishing, whereas toxic positivity is the belief that people should maintain a positive mindset no matter how bad, sad, or challenging a situation is. Toxic positivity is a red flag.
