One Nation surge, Trump threatens Iran | ABC News Top Stories

<p>Josephine Asher with the top stories.</p><p>Tropical cyclone Narelle is moving over the Northern Territory at category two strength, after crossing the coast near Cape Shield as a category three.</p><p>The Weather Bureau says Narelle will continue to weaken throughout today into a tropical storm, though it could re-intensify into a cyclone as it approaches WA tomorrow.</p><p>Large parts of Far North Queensland are still on flood watch, with more than 100 millimetres of rain on the north tropical coast in the past 24 hours.</p><p>US President Donald Trump says the U-S will “obliterate” Iranian power plants if it doesn’t fully open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours.</p><p>The US President faces increasing pressure to secure the strait as oil prices soar.</p><p>Australia's Energy Minister says fuel supplies are secure, despite some shipments deferred or cancelled.</p><p>Chris Bowen says six of the 80 shipments due next month have been affected -- but they've largely been replaced.</p><p>And South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas says the idea of safe seats is over after One Nation attracted 21 per cent of the vote across the state.</p><p>The Labor government won its second term last night while the Liberals suffered an historic low.</p><p>Mr Malinauskas says Labor needs to ask itself what more can be done for people in outer suburban Adelaide and regional South Australia.</p><p>For more news at any time you can follow the ABC Top Stories podcast.</p>
