Iowa beat Nebraska 40-16 on Black Friday, marking the Hawks 7th straight win against the Huskers in Lincoln, the largest winning streak against Nebraska since Oklahoma won 8 in row there from 1943-57.
Mark Gronowski threw for 166 and a touchdown, adding 64 rushing yards and another two rushing TDs.
The defense stiffened up after allowing Emmett Johnson to 177 yards in the first half. But for the most part, the Huskers were kept out of the endzone when they got close and didn't score a point in the second half.
