With only a few minutes left, it looked like Iowa would defeat No. 11 Indiana at Kinnick Stadium. Zach Lutmer's pick of Fernando Mendoza appeared to set Iowa up with good field position and a chance to run out the clock and kick a game-winning field goal.
But Iowa failed to get a first down, Drew Stevens missed a 42-yard field goal, and Indiana scored a touchdown on the next drive.
