The Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Washington Capitals 5-3 as the Bolts erupted for 4 first period goals. Brandon Hagel led the way with 2 goals, including a shorthanded one, Oliver Bjorkstrand got his 2nd of the season, Anthony Cirelli and Nikita Kucherov scored as well. The Penalty Kill went 6-for-6 including killing a long 5-on-3.
