(Ep 234) Hanna Tauber

In this latest episode, I was pleased to be joined by 2026 Allegria Stegerbasch Ladies Open winner Hanna Tauber who has had a good season on LET Access Series this year currently ranked 14th on LETAS Order of Merit standings. Hanna is from the Castrop Rouxel region of Germany near to the city of Dortmund and is a massive fan of Borussia Dortmund football team (find out who she blind ranks her teams former players from 1-8). Hanna would discover the game at round about 10 years old and describes the complexity of the game as one of the main factors. Hanna as a Junior would win 2022 International Junior Golf Masters, win 2023 NRW Championship AK 18 & finish runner up at 2023 German Matchplay as well as a 5th at Scottish Girls' & 24th at the prestigious Helen Holm Amateur Championship. Hanna would start her pro journey on Sunshine Ladies Tour in South Africa in 2025 before plying her trade on LET Access Series finishing 35th at Montauban, 14th at Czech Challenge & 14th at PGA Championship Sweden before a brilliant 2nd at the season ending Calatayud Ladies Open in Spain. This year, Tauber would start again in South Africa with some good performances, 14th at Standard Bank Ladies Open & a top 10 at Jabra Ladies Classic. In her first LETAS start of the season Hanna would win her maiden professional title at Allegria Stegerbasch Ladies Open in Austria defeating Ragga Kristinsdottír by 2 shots. Not too long afterwards back in Germany at Wuppertaler would see Hanna take the 36 hole lead going into the final day playing in the final group on home soil, another great experience.
