#266 Valentino Guseli —2x Olympian, World Record Holder & Still Just Getting Started

This week I sat down with Valentino Guseli. He is 20 years old and already one of the greatest snowboarders on the planet. We spent two days together before the mics even came out — surfing, snowboarding and making music on the NSW south coast. The conversation that followed was one of my favourites. Val grew up in Dalmeny, a tiny town on the south coast, and has gone on to compete at two Winter Olympics, set the world record for the highest halfpipe air, win two Overall Park and Pipe Crystal Globes and become the first snowboarder in history to podium in all three park and pipe disciplines in a single season. We talk about his upbringing, what it takes to reach the top of a sport before you turn 20, bouncing back from a torn ACL and what is driving him as he chases even bigger goals. Val is creative, grounded and genuinely one of the most exciting young athletes in the world right now. This one will fire you up. In this episode we cover: Growing up in Dalmeny on the NSW south coast Two Winter Olympics — Beijing 2022 and Milano Cortina 2026 World record for the highest halfpipe air Two Overall Park and Pipe Crystal Globes and the Big Air Crystal Globe First snowboarder to podium in all three park and pipe disciplines in one season Coming back from a torn ACL Surfing, music and life away from the snow What is driving him as he chases even bigger goals Follow Valentino Instagram https://www.instagram.com/valentino.guseli/ Connect with Cooper Workshop and Speaking Enquiries https://form.typeform.com/to/DSPSnvEH 1% Good Club Book https://booktopia.kh4ffx.net/e1xrkr https://amzn.to/46ve1i2 Instagram https://www.instagram.com/cooperchapman/ TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@cooperchapman_ LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/cooper-chapman-08a278151/ The Good Human Factory Instagram https://www.instagram.com/thegoodhumanfactory/ The Good Human Factory https://www.thegoodhumanfactory.com THE GOOD HUMAN FACTORY™️ 2020 Hosted on Acast.
