Colossians 1:21-23
Paul makes clear the nature of our reconciliation with God because of the blood of Christ. He contrasts our life before that as one of alienation, hostility and evil actions, with our new life, which is holy, faultless and blameless before God. We need to remember who we were, rest in what Christ has done, and remain grounded in the Gospel.
