I am honored to welcome Kimberly Palermo to the Leadership & Success Podcast with Coach BZ for what promises to be a thoughtful, courageous, and deeply important conversation about leadership, truth, education, history, and the responsibility that comes with understanding difficult realities.
Kimberly Palermo is an educator, writer, cultural analyst, and author of the thought-provoking book, INDOCTRI-NATION 365: Taking Racial Responsibility in Post-Truth America.
With decades of experience in behavioral science, special education, cultural literacy, and community learning, Kimberly has dedicated her work to helping even the most reluctant learners better understand the hidden histories, systems, and narratives that continue to shape American society today.
Her journey includes teaching in Compton during the Rodney King era, leading large online educational communities, creating over 1,000 educational videos, and building platforms focused on truth, accountability, empathy, and transformational learning.
As a cybersecurity executive and Information Warfare Military Commander in the U.S. Navy, I believe leadership requires the courage to engage difficult conversations thoughtfully, respectfully, and honestly — especially in an era increasingly shaped by polarization, misinformation, and emotional division.
This conversation is not about blame. It is about understanding. It is about learning. It is about leadership.
