Week 41 Pt5 Come, All You Who Are Thirsty, Isaiah 55-57

Isaiah 55 invites us to come to God with empty hands—thirsty, hungry, unable to buy what our souls need. He asks why we chase things that never satisfy and offers covenant mercy, freely given. His thoughts are higher because His capacity to pardon is greater. His word revives like rain on dry ground, leading us from darkness into joy and peace. The God who inhabits eternity draws near to the brokenhearted and breathes life into them. Our prayer becomes: Lord, abide with me. Revive what is dry in me.
