Week 42 Pt 4 Beauty for Ashes Isaiah 61

OCT 15, 20267 MIN

Description

Christ steps directly into the places we cannot repair and brings good news to the poor, healing for the brokenhearted, freedom for the captive, and light for those in darkness. Jesus reads this passage in Luke 4 and says it is fulfilled in Him — He is the Anointed One. Isaiah promises He gives beauty instead of ashes, joy instead of mourning. Ashes represent what’s gone, what can’t be put back the way it was. Christ doesn’t always erase the loss, but He refuses to let ashes be the end of the story. He grows oaks of righteousness where ruin once stood. And the people He heals become people who help rebuild — restored ones becoming restorers. Our prayer becomes: Lord, abide with me. Take the ashes I still carry and make something beautiful. Then use what You’ve healed in me to strengthen someone else.
