Description
In this episode of the Sargent: On Track Podcast, guest host and Business Development Director Glenn Adams is joined by Cianbro's Corporate Director of Operational Human Resources Dan Coffey and Retirement Benefits and Organizational Development Manager Rachel Ervin in the Flywheel Studio for a special Employee Ownership Month conversation. Cianbro began its transition to employee ownership in 1979, when the founding brothers chose to pass the company on to the people who helped build it. Dan and Rachel talk about how ownership shows up in the field, from crews caring for tools as they would in their own garage to a safety culture where everyone is expected to speak up for each other. They also share how Cianbro educates team members about the ESOP and why veteran employee-owners are often the best advocates for new hires.
