On this week’s walk and talk with Rae… There is beauty in becoming!  Many times we stay small, we live in fear and we settle because it’s all we’ve ever know or seen. It’s comfort and it may even feel safe.   But what if we stepped into becoming … becoming something and someone that we needed as a child. To become the first graduate in your family or be the first to own a home. To be the first person who goes to therapy, travels the world or teaches others how to forgive. Or even to be the first one who teach others about generational wealth. But here’s the thing about becoming, it is beautiful but it has its stages…. It may require you to cry for the first time, or go to therapy, or forgive yourself / those who have hurt you. It may require you to move , let go and invite God into your wounds. It may require you to talk about things you once kept silent... But I promise you, there’s beauty through the process and on the other side of the pain !  So I ask you… Are you willing to take the first step ? It’s not easy but there’s an inner child in you who needs you!
