Breathe Series: (1) He sees me, I am not alone

Over the next 4 weeks Lina will be sharing a bible teaching called “Breathe: Finding Rest in the God Who Sees.”  Life can feel overwhelming—sometimes exciting, sometimes exhausting—and it’s easy to get swept up in emotions that leave us feeling unanchored. But Scripture is full of stories about people just like us, wrestling with the gap between what they see and what they feel. The story of Hagar in Genesis depicts a woman who was frantic with fear and uncertainty. She was a pawn in someone else’s game of self-control. Hagar experienced the God who sees in the midst of her wandering and His words transformed her. He offers the same for each of us – the promise that He sees us and we are not alone.
