Details

The Soulful Success Podcast is a space for visionaries, creators, and conscious leaders who sense that success isn’t just about achievement, but about alignment with what’s true. Hosted by Kyle Diotte, this podcast offers reflective conversations on identity evolution, capacity, self-trust, and the subtle patterns that shape how we live and lead. Rather than providing strategies or solutions, each episode creates space to slow down, name lived experience, and explore leadership from the inside out. Human Design, nervous system awareness, and embodied insight inform the lens of the podcast, but the focus remains on recognition rather than instruction. If you’re navigating success, transition, or an internal shift that doesn’t need fixing, this space invites you to listen more closely to your own authority. Because success isn’t about doing more. It’s about becoming more of who you truly are.

The Missing Piece to Living in Alignment
Knowing yourself isn't the same as living in alignment. You can understand who you are and still be making decisions from everywhere except your own authority. In this episode, Kyle explores what Authority means in Human Design — and why knowing your Authority and actually following it are two different challenges entirely. Most of us aren't taught how to make decisions for ourselves. We're taught to think things through, listen to people who know better, consider what others need. We become very good at making decisions that make sense — without ever learning how to recognize what's true for us. Authority is how you, specifically, recognize what's aligned with you. Depending on your design, it might ask you to wait for emotional clarity, respond from your gut, speak something out and hear what's true, or work through another Authority process. Kyle focuses on Self-Projected Authority — his own lived experience — but the principle applies to everyone. The real challenge isn't knowing your Authority. It's following it when it creates friction: decisions you can't logic-explain, outcomes that don't guarantee success, a mind that's very loud telling you something else makes more sense. But something shifts through experimentation. Every time you make a decision from your Authority and stay with it — even when uncomfortable, even when questioned — you build evidence that your own knowing can be trusted. Over time, that evidence compounds. Not because every decision works out perfectly, but because decisions increasingly feel like they're actually coming from you. This is for the person who understands themselves better now and still feels like someone else is making the decisions. Why Self Leadership Comes Before Everything Else
You can fix your business. You can fix the relationship. You can fix the money. And you'll still end up misaligned — not because the fix was wrong, but because the decisions behind it were never coming from your own authority in the first place. In this episode, Kyle makes the case that self-leadership isn't one more area of your life to work on, alongside your business, your relationships, and your money. It's the thing all of those decisions actually pass through before they become real. Every business decision, every relationship decision, every financial decision — same person, making the call, every time. When that person isn't actually leading, the same misalignment doesn't stay contained to one place. It shows up everywhere. Kyle breaks down what's actually running the show when it isn't you — usually one of two things: old conditioning that's still operating long after it stopped serving you, or deferring to someone else's authority, often without ever registering that a handoff even happened. He gets into how to actually tell whether a decision is coming from your own authority, why that kind of self-knowledge has to be built deliberately rather than absorbed on its own, and why fixing something on the outside so rarely holds if the person making the decisions hasn't actually changed. This isn't an episode about fixing your business, your relationships, or your finances individually. It's about the person making those decisions in the first place — and what actually changes once that decision-making starts coming from you. This is for the person who's made real changes before and still ended up somewhere that didn't feel like theirs. In this episode: 01:35 — Discipline executes, self-leadership decides: a quick recap of last episode 02:01 — Why self-leadership touches every part of your life, not just one 02:49 — Why fixing the outside doesn't hold if the inside hasn't changed 03:50 — What's actually leading you when it isn't you: conditioning and borrowed authority 06:00 — The tell: how to know if a decision is actually yours 06:47 — Why knowing your own authority has to be learned, and where Human Design fits in 08:40 — What actually gets someone to make the shift 10:19 — What changes once your decisions are actually coming from you Work with Kyle If something in this episode landed — and you're realizing the work isn't really in the area you keep trying to fix, but in who's actually making the decisions — a Human Design Integration Session is one way to start finding out. It's not about learning more information. It's a conversation about how your own authority actually works, so you have something real to make decisions from. Book a Human Design Integration Session

What No One Teaches You About Leading Yourself
There's a version of you that gets a lot done. Shows up. Follows through. Executes. And from the outside, that looks exactly like leadership. It even feels like it, most days. In this episode, Kyle draws out a distinction most people have never actually made: discipline and self-leadership are not the same thing. Discipline is the ability to carry out a decision, any decision, whether or not it was ever actually yours. It doesn't ask whether a task deserves your energy — it just executes. Self-leadership is what happens before that. It's what decides which tasks belong on the list in the first place. You can be fully disciplined and still be spending your life somewhere you never actually chose to go — executing perfectly, on a path someone else set. Kyle also pushes past the more familiar version of this idea: that self-leadership is simply about choosing for yourself. Because choosing isn't automatically leading. You can choose out of fear. You can choose to prove something. You can choose because it's expected, and still call it your decision because you're the one who said yes. Real self-leadership is about direction — knowing what you're actually building toward, and letting that decide what earns your discipline, your energy, and your yes. The episode also explores why so few people are ever taught to lead themselves in the first place. School teaches execution. Jobs teach execution. Even parenting, often without meaning to, teaches execution. Society broadly rewards it, because it's visible and easy to praise. Almost nowhere is direction actually taught — which is part of why so many genuinely accomplished, highly disciplined people still don't know how to lead themselves. This isn't an episode about getting more done, or getting better at saying no. It's about the difference between a life that's being executed well and a life that's actually being led — and where real direction actually comes from once you start looking for it in your own authority instead of everyone else's blueprint. This is for the person who's checking every box, following through on everything they said they would, and still feels like they're not the one actually steering. In this episode: 01:37 — Why executing well isn't the same as leading your life 02:23 — Discipline executes. Self-leadership decides 04:17 — Why choosing for yourself still isn't the same as leading yourself 07:23 — Why almost nowhere actually teaches direction 09:23 — The piece most people miss: self-leadership isn't just what you say no to 10:03 — Where real direction actually comes from 13:19 — How discipline and self-leadership work together once direction is in place Work with Kyle If something in this episode landed — and you're realizing you've gotten very good at executing a life you never actually decided to build — a Human Design Integration Session is one way to start finding out what's actually yours. Why Evolving Is Harder Than Anyone Tells You
Most people expect the hard part of evolving to be the decision — the moment they choose to stop living as who they've been. But the real difficulty comes after that. In the space between the old version and the new one, where the old patterns are still running, the people around you haven't updated their picture of you, and you're trying to grow into someone you don't fully have a clear vision of yet. What makes this particularly disorienting is that nothing is obviously wrong. The life may still be working. The relationships may still be intact. But internally, you're somewhere between two versions of yourself — and the uncertainty of not knowing which one is correct, yours or theirs, is its own kind of hard. In this episode, Kyle breaks down what's actually happening in that in-between space. The unlearning — why beliefs, habits, and emotional patterns don't disappear just because you've decided to move on from them. The nervous system — why the body recalibrates on its own timeline regardless of what the mind has decided. The people around you — why some will embrace who you're becoming and others, often without realizing it, will pull you back toward who you were. And the environment — why the spaces and structures built around the old version of you carry their own quiet resistance. This isn't an episode about getting through it faster. It's about understanding what you're actually in — and why the disorientation you're feeling isn't a sign something is wrong. It's a sign something real is happening. This is for the person who has made the decision to evolve — and is in the middle of finding out how much that actually asks of you. Work with Kyle If something in this episode landed and you're in this transition right now — not sure which version of you is correct, feeling the pull of the old patterns, trying to figure out who you're actually becoming — a Human Design Integration Session might be the right next step. It's not another layer of learning. It's a conversation about how your design is already showing up in your life, what's getting in the way of trusting yourself through this process, and what becomes available when you start living from your own authority instead of everyone else's version of you.
