The Missing Piece to Living in Alignment

Description

Knowing yourself isn't the same as living in alignment. You can understand who you are and still be making decisions from everywhere except your own authority. In this episode, Kyle explores what Authority means in Human Design — and why knowing your Authority and actually following it are two different challenges entirely. Most of us aren't taught how to make decisions for ourselves. We're taught to think things through, listen to people who know better, consider what others need. We become very good at making decisions that make sense — without ever learning how to recognize what's true for us. Authority is how you, specifically, recognize what's aligned with you. Depending on your design, it might ask you to wait for emotional clarity, respond from your gut, speak something out and hear what's true, or work through another Authority process. Kyle focuses on Self-Projected Authority — his own lived experience — but the principle applies to everyone. The real challenge isn't knowing your Authority. It's following it when it creates friction: decisions you can't logic-explain, outcomes that don't guarantee success, a mind that's very loud telling you something else makes more sense. But something shifts through experimentation. Every time you make a decision from your Authority and stay with it — even when uncomfortable, even when questioned — you build evidence that your own knowing can be trusted. Over time, that evidence compounds. Not because every decision works out perfectly, but because decisions increasingly feel like they're actually coming from you. This is for the person who understands themselves better now and still feels like someone else is making the decisions. It's not about learning more information. It's about beginning to recognize and trust your own authority in real decisions. Book a Human Design Integration Session Learn More at www.kylediotte.ca
