It's Time To Unlock The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse & The Seals Like Never Before | TTP 43

Most people meet the four horsemen and see a catalogue of disasters. That is not what John saw. Revelation tells one story from several angles. First the seven churches, which show God's people from the inside — what they loved, what they lost, what Christ commended and rebuked. Then the seven seals, which show the same centuries from the outside: what the church went through in each age, and how her career looked to the watching universe. The letters are the diagnosis. The seals are the biography. And the horse is not a disaster. Scripture defines its own symbols, and it calls God's people His horse: "the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle" (Zechariah 10:3). Compare Song of Solomon 1:9. So when the first seal opens and a white horse rides out conquering, we are watching the apostolic church go forth from A.D. 31 in purity, with the gospel arrow in her bow, carrying the message into all the world. Even the crown tells you which story you are in. It is stephanos, the victor's wreath given to a runner who finished — not diadema, the band a king wears by right. This is a church that overcame, not a church that seized power. This is where the seal gets misread. Many take the horsemen as nothing but future catastrophe and skip the history entirely. Others read only the history and miss that the pattern comes round again. Both halves belong: each seal had its age, and each returns in the last days in the form its end-time application describes. The white horse rides once at Pentecost and rides again before the end, when the latter rain falls and this gospel of the kingdom is preached in all the world for a witness (Matthew 24:14).
