It’s been splashed all over the media in recent years and with major celebrity endorsement we wanted to talk about the rise of semaglutide aka Ozempic and Wagovy as its trade name descriptions would call it.
Is this the 'wonder weight loss drug' that some report? Or does it have some seriously bad side effects? What might also be the broader implications of promoting the idea of thinness? And are we just furthering toxic diet culture?
