Tim Flood

It’s another “Writer Wednesday” for “The CC & JT Amateur Hour,” and we welcome Tim Flood to the Big Show. Tim’s journey into the world of writing began later in life, so his literary art is rich with the nuances of his past. He shares insights into his debut novel, “The Flower of Canaan,” a story steeped in memories and values that span generations. The inspiration for this book draws heavily from Tim’s childhood and young adult experiences. He reflects on how his values and beliefs shaped by his upbringing and his grandmother’s storytelling led him to write this profound tale from days gone by, yet still directly relates to our tumultuous modern times. Through “The Flower of Canaan,” Tim Flood illustrates the power of storytelling as a means of exploring complex personal histories while shedding light on broader societal issues. His insights remind us that writing is not just an art form but a way to connect with and understand our pasts, as well as the world around us.  You can learn more about time through his website and through his Substack. +++ Cassidy Carson and JT Hume (“CC & JT”) are independent writers, publishers, and co-owners of Two Moore Books, LLC out of Carson City, Nevada, USA.
