Temptation: Is It a Blessing? *SERMON*

Temptation doesn’t come from God. It is drawn from the desires already in our own hearts, and left unchecked it leads to sin and death. But James 1:12-18 shows that the only way to endure it isn’t sheer willpower; it’s a love for Jesus deep enough to outweigh what temptation offers, because He endured the cross out of love for us first.
