Cheers 2 Ears!

Send us Fan Mail Retiring at Disney sounds like a joke until you start doing the math and then it becomes a very expensive kind of believable. We kick things off at Old Key West with a Turtle Crawl in hand, break down what’s in it, and talk about why that “sit by the pool and watch the day go by” feeling is basically the spark behind this whole Disney retirement plan fantasy. From there, we build two very different versions of a Disney Vacation Club retirement. One of us goes full boug...

Send us Fan Mail The parks are at their best when everyone acts like they’re sharing them, not starring in them. We start by drifting the Outer Rim with a Star Wars Oga’s Cantina inspired cocktail, breaking down the ingredients, what Disney gets right, and what we’d tweak at home. Then we make it official with a brand-new rating system: how many “ears” a drink deserves. After the sip comes the list. We go rapid-fire on the Disney things that should be phased out, from prank influencers and o...

Send us Fan Mail A $17 Disney cocktail on the menu sounds like a splurge until you realize you can steal the best part, the warm spice and rye kick, and make it at home. We start with the Allspice Old Fashioned inspired by Rix Sports Bar at Disney’s Coronado Springs, talk through what it tastes like, and share a practical allspice dram substitute using dark rum, allspice, bitters, and simple syrup. If you’re into Disney drinks, craft cocktail recipes, or just want a smart home bar shortcut, t...

Send us Fan Mail We start with a drink you can practically taste through your headphones: a Water District Gimlet inspired by Lamplight Lounge at Disney California Adventure. We walk through the simple build (gin, lychee syrup, lime juice, shaken and served up) and give the honest verdict you want before you spend park-level money. It’s bright, tart, easy to sip, and somehow still lands in that “middle of the menu” zone we all know too well. Then we take that same “take it or leave it” energ...

Send us Fan Mail If you could erase every Disney theme park and keep just one, what would it look like? We take on the “Disney Super Park” challenge and draft a single, fully themed park made from the best lands, attractions, restaurants, and shows across Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Shanghai Disney. We fuel the planning session with a Pretty Boy cocktail (tequila, raspberry puree, lemon, a little pineapple) and then immediate...
