Gina Conley is the founder of MamasteFit, a perinatal fitness training company that supports individuals from preconception through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. As both a perinatal fitness trainer and a birth worker, Gina offers a unique blend of expertise in movement and labor preparation. She is the author of Training for Two and a mom of four.
On this episode we talk about myths around fitness and pregnancy, how working out can support your pregnancy and prepare your body for birth, as well as how working out supports your growing baby (and the benefits while in utero!). We also discuss what exercises to avoid during pregnancy, pelvic floor health, how to recover and prevent recti dietesis, as well as ideal labour positions, and so much more!
