If I could go back to every single summer of my weight loss journey and shake myself, I would. Because I spent years following summer weight loss advice, I was so convinced I was right…and it was keeping me completely stuck. The salad only barbecues. The two-a-day workouts in the heat. The I'll be good all day so I can eat at night strategy. The summer detoxes. The I have to earn my vacation body mentality. All of it. And none of it worked. Not because I wasn't disciplined enough.
